Light Codes from HErring Cove
The news is a buzz with the story of the man swallowed whole by the humpback whale, and spit out and returned to the sea. If you have not yet read it, check it out here:
an excerpt: "PROVINCETOWN — At a little before 8 a.m. Friday, veteran lobster diver Michael Packard entered the water for his second dive of the day. Licensed commercial lobster divers literally pluck lobsters off the sandy bottom, and as Packard, 56, dove down Friday morning, he saw schools of sand lances and stripers swimming by.
The ocean food chain was in full evidence, but about 10 feet from the bottom Packard suddenly knew what it truly felt like to be part of that chain. In something truly biblical, Packard was swallowed whole by a humpback whale!"
This Beach he was diving off of, Herring Cove, is one of my favorites. My family and I visit many time every year. I have been actively doing light work and gridwork with this point for many many years now. The tip of Cape Cod is a powerful grid node point. The spiral of the land emirates and terminates here, from east coast Canada, down Maine and NH, by Boston's North and South shores, into the bay and to the tip of the cape.
The sands of Cape Cod are glacial moraine, deposited many eons ago, crystalline amazingness.
Here is a gallery of pictures, taken by me over the years at this exact spot....
