Photomancy is the art of divination by gazing into fields of light.
Photomancy governs the control of light and radiance. A powerful photomancer can travel through light-waves and reflections to almost any point and control different spectrums of light like second-nature. It is viewed as an inherently celestial form. 
 
Oneiromancy - divination based upon dreams
Oneiromancy (from the Greek όνειροϛ oneiros, dream, and μαντεία manteia, prophecy) is a form of divination based upon dreams.  Occasionally, the dreamer feels as if they are transported to another time or place, and this is offered as evidence they are in fact providing divine information upon their return.
 
The Egyptians wrote down their dreams on papyrus. People with vivid and significant dreams were thought to be blessed and were considered special. Ancient Egyptians believed that dreams were like oracles, bringing messages from the gods. They thought that the best way to receive divine revelation was through dreaming and thus they would induce (or "incubate") dreams. This September Equinox Gateway, one of the streams of knowledge I reconnected with was “observational divination”.  It came in the form of “Unlocking the Key Codes of Observational Divination” and “Your Senses as Divination Tools”
This flow of expanded awareness is available to everyone of us!
 
For me, it began with the repeated inner voice whisper of the term “Geomancy”.  When performing my gatekeeping over the Equinox corridor – I kept hearing this, as I walked through the woods and long the shores of Silver Lake.   
 
I often hear the whispers of geomancy when working with the earth grids.  Like so many ancestors before me, I hone the skills of deeply listening to the living breathing body of our planet earth.  This season, I am reconnecting with this skillset in a much deeper expanded tangible way.  And have much information to share with you as you navigate your own inner exploration and expansion.
 
Your Sensory Field
Everything we can know about nature, about the world around us and within us comes through the senses.  Your Sensory Field is what you can see, smell, taste, touch and feel.  These senses serve as gateways of information.  Expanding sensory skills is how we each communicate directly to the universe.  
 
Geomancy, to me, is a deep listening with all of my senses to the earth itself.  For the flow of energy that innervates and surrounds our terra-planet-home.  Geomancers respond to the earth, and work with the grids to maintain balance and flow.  When I dove a bit deeper into what this word and role of geomancer entails, I was shown this tapestry of sensory divination skills we humans have access to.  It all clicked in for me in a new and expanded way.
 
This time of year is traditionally a time to turn inward, to sit by a fire, to honor those who have traversed the veils and increase our skills of listening deeply, with all of our senses.  A perfect time for you to dive deep and reconnect with your own sensory field as your access portal to ALL.

Divination is

• a systematic method with which to organize facets of existence such that they provide insight into a problem at hand

• to gain insight by interpreting signs, codes, or forces and elements of nature

 
Particular divination methods vary by culture and region and tradition. People with special knowledge of the divine or supernatural realms have appeared in many myths, legends, folktales, and religious traditions. Those known as seers could see things hidden from others. They have been called diviners, oracles, prophets, and shamans.
 
Shamans were believed to have the power to communicate with and/or travel to the spirit world. Hindu mythology includes many wise and holy men called seers or sages, known in sanskrit as Rishis. They possess great spiritual power and vision.
 
“Nature is traditionally fundamental to divination, whose indigenous metaphorical roots remit to natural phenomena such as stones, water, and animal behavior” (Curry, 2010). 

Digging deeper into Geomancy I came upon a webpage with Observational Divination Methods -   Geomancy being one.  Reading through each one, I realized how we use a tapestry of these skills to communicate with the planetary grids and gateways.  
Seeing them outlined as “occult powers” of extra sensory perception…
Really pinged something within me.
 
How in other times on this globe the gifts of seer, of sage, of Rishi was honored and cherished.  Supported by the village community.   Revered as a source of wisdom and inspiration and those rich with insights were sought out and cherished.
 
In our modern mindset, in our thought driven and science-based culture, there are times when these “soft skills” are ignored or minimized, pushed aside as fancy.
 
Those of us rich with these sensory perceptions have kept to the fringes.  Part of the current evolution is the return of honor and reverence for the subtle sensory communication skills.
 
We live in an expansive global time when we can proudly show ourselves fully in these roles.  The more of us that rekindle and reconnect with these innate sensory communication pathways and share about it, the more these skills and roles will be pulled into the center stage. Each human that cultivates and expands these innate skills will help light the way!

When we have a Solar Eclipse alignment, the sun and the moon occupy the same spot in the sky.  A Lunar Eclipse – they are in direct opposition – across the sky from each other.
 
Solar Energies represent radiant expansive pulsating outward flow of plasma gas and heat and light – very firey.  Often associated with the masculine yang energies.
 
Lunar Energies are more reflective, inward, contemplative, yin settling quieting energies.  More associated with the feminine yin energetic.
 
This yin yang across the sky opposition energy is a powerful Celestial Gateway.  Celestial Bodies that are in opposition balance each other out.  One rises while the other sets.  One lowers in the sky and the other goes higher.  They also create a magnetic pull-pole-dynamic attraction that influences everything between them.
 
This includes YOU!  As an earthling, all of these astronomical events we track are geocentric, are events as observed from here on earth.  So, the horizon line of this rise and set polar opposite is the earth line.  We sit in the middle.  This very moment in earth long lens history is a short moment in galactic time when the disc of the sun and the moon happen to make the same diameter disc in the sky, so that they can cover and eclipse each other like this.  And YOU incarnated on this planet at this brief moment in time!  Why are you here?  What is your soul purpose?  What role do you fill in the big picture of humanity and globally? What is your heart and soul calling and how are you fulfilling it?
 
These are the questions that a lunar eclipse pull unearths.  We dig up all the old programming that gets in our way.  We honor and observe the shadows, using them as teaching tools.  In fact, they get brought front and center, highlighted by a Lunar Eclipse.  
 
You are smack in the middle of the strong magnetic pull to your need for quiet alone time and introspection, and your soul longing to make a big impact for the whole globe.  Each Lunar Eclipse contains this magnetic pull of opposites alignment, as does each Full Moon.  The Moon moves across the sky along the zodiac constellations rapidly, changing placements by the day.  The Sun has its annular journey across the zodiac constellations, building out a solar year.
 
Where the Sun and the Moon sit in the sky influence the solar system magnetics.  The pull of the planets, especially the ones closer to earth, have a strong geometric and magnetic influence.  They influence the body of the earth, the whole planet, AND they influence YOUR personal multidimensional energy field- heart, mind, soul and body.  

​For the November 7/8 Lunar Eclipse
The Sun sits in the constellation of Libra.  It sits exactly with Mercury (conjunction) and right near Venus.  The Sun and Mercury sit on one of the “scales of justice”, while Venus sits on the center of the scale.  Fascinating that it coincides with Election Day here in the USA.  Scales tipping energies are present!

​The Moon is just entering the constellation Taurus.  It sits near Uranus, in the same neighborhood as Mars, and triangulates with the Pleiades, Hyades and Aldebaran.

Mars has been marching backwards through the horns of the bull in retrograde motion and will meet with the moon and the Pleiades later this month.

​Mars is a very “personal power” planet.  Adding it to the Lunar neighborhood for the eclipse increases the fire of the inner transformation.  Many of us are feeling this passionate fire and flow, in the form of strong emotions.  Often deep and unexpected emotional reactions to things.  This has been building for the two week eclipse corridor with the Oct 25 Solar Eclipse.

Those of us on the East Coast of North America will look to the skies from 3:30 am until sunrise to view this eclipse.  The eclipse peaks for us just as the sun is rising and the moon is setting, so the hours around 4:30 - 6:30 am will be good viewing.

When we look at all the players, see the whole board, it can help us orchestrate our big picture advances.  We can use these solar system alignments and gateways and influences to move us forward on the path and accelerate our journey.  Use this time to clear away the old.  The old narratives, the old ways of thinking, the patterns of damaging or draining self-talk.  The judgements of self and others, the reactions to triggers and events.
 
The act of jettisoning anything that is no longer serving your highest and greatest good is an act of self-mastery.  It is an act of inner freedom!
