So many of us are paying attention to and hearing about the power of the 11/11 day, especially with the increased power of the Mercury transit the sun on that same day.
 
November 11 is a powerful day for ONES.  This day holds the Power of 11
The "11" represents  - Strands of DNA - spiral staircase - ascension
            coding - from ancestors - from star elders - thru space and time
 
At 11:11 the portal opens and we walk thru - tune in to the message you are to receive we each receive a piece of the code, your mission/passion is to bring your unique piece out of your depths so together we create a clear picture
 
Adding to this Power of the 11 that happens for us every year on this date, this year we are also experiencing a visible transit of mercury across the sun. Only once every seven years or so, the planet earth, planet mercury and the sun are aligned in such a way that as viewed from planet earth, mercury moves across the disc of the sun.  Looking with the right equipment, we can see a dark disc spot, that is mercury, move across the face of the sun.
 
Looking deeply at this, and getting myself behind the scenes of what is truly going on for this potent moment...this is what is coming through for me, and I am so delighted to share with you...

​When reading up on Mercury, going deeper than our “standard” interpretations of it being a “messenger of the gods”, of it ruling communications and swift quicksilver motion – I encountered a new to me mercury fact.  That it is in Tidal Lock with the sun. Reading this was a full body full being – ding ding ding – pay attention here moment.
 
Tidal Locking, also know as gravitational locking or as spin-orbit locking, occurs in astronomical bodies in rotation around each other.  It happens through proximity and gravitational forces, slowing the rotation until there is a match in rotation and orbit. A well known example is how the moon is in tidal lock with the earth, and rotates at the same speed it takes to orbit, thereby only showing us on earth one face.  This is synchronized rotation.  This is why there is a dark side of the moon that we don’t see from earth.

“Mercury rotates in a way that is unique in the Solar System. It is tidally locked with the Sun in a 3:2 spin-orbit resonance,[16] meaning that relative to the fixed stars, it rotates on its axis exactly three times for every two revolutions it makes around the Sun.” (1)

​This transit is sending me this clear message –
"Take a good long look at what you are tidally locked with."
 
We as humans get in tidal lock with systems, schools of thought, paradigms, dogmas, other people, institutions, groups.  We pour time, energy, attention, money, thoughts and emotion.  This transit is asking you….to examine these internal tidal locks of your precious energy and attention.  Are there any of these within you that are no longer serving your highest and greatest good? Are any of these creating a drain or drag on your field? Are they slowing you down or creating resistance? These are great questions, and let’s be clear on how you can easily discern this.  Does it put a smile on your face? Does it bring you joy and effervescence? Does it lift you up?  Then it is a beneficial use of your energy.
 
Does it make you sigh, does it come with a heaviness of heart, or a sense of dread or obligation?  Does it weigh you down, or make you feel sad or bad or guilty or lacking?  Then this person or job or relationship or volunteer role, it is not for you anymore, and it is time to release yourself from this resonant orbit.
 
The physics behind this, both at a cosmic astronomical body level, and at a personal human interaction one….is that it takes a significant amount of “thrust” or energy to change this. Once you are “locked in” to something, the path of ease is to stay in lock step.  To free yourself, to chart a new course, to make a move to freedom and doing it differently, it takes a tremendous amount of work on your part.  It has to be a big on purpose move.
 
I have noticed this happening for myself many times on my life journey.  I am currently at the other side of a huge “course correction” that began for me just before the equinox.  It is an ongoing process.  I can report that making this recalibration and re-charting my course has opened up a tremendous amount of freedom, energy, and inner knowing for me.  It has been arduous, painful, but altogether a valuable amazing liberating thing.  I can offer you encouragement to do it for yourself.   So many of us are getting the call this fall...Make a move!
 
With this transit, and especially as Mercury is in retrograde (apparent motion) – we are best served asking ourselves at the deepest darkest levels….
Are all of my tidal locks serving me?  What orbits do I need to emancipate myself from?  What is happening behind the scenes that might be draining me of precious life force?
 
Take stock, re-evaluate, honor where you have been, all the gifts, the lessons, the beauty and precious connections.  If there are some things that you need to let go of, if there is a bold brave new path for you to trod.  If you have a yearning to break free and realign your orbits. Now is a potent powerful time to do this. You've got the universe supporting you!
