I’m out looking for the almost Full Moon Rise. A special moment and horizon alignment rise spot today…far North of East…displaying the Lunar Standstill cycle moment we are in.
Clouds on the horizon are plentiful and temperatures are low, while spirits, wonder and awe are high

Full Moon Rise tomorrow night will be just a bit further east than tonight…still
good viewing. Many of the world stone calendar sites are built to highlight these special Lunar Standstill rises and sets- North & South of East - West. These alignment markers help our ancestors follow and predict things like eclipses and other cycles. The original Astro Calendars.
Now, most of us have calendars in our pockets - easy access on smart phones - and we don’t “need” a stine temple to discern. AND we still have much to gain by being out in the field, on the land, under the sky when these alignments happen.
Many of us gatekeep this way.

The Sun erupted a big burp of plasma flared at 22:34 UTC/5:34 EST/2:34 PST Thursday February 22.
On that same day, just shy of an hour later, at 23:23 UTC/6:23 EST/3:23 PST the Lunar Craft Odysseus landed by the South Pole of our Moon.
Both very significant events for humanity sparking our evolution and upleveling.
Of note to me, as we enter this powerful Eclipse Corridor - a Lunar Eclipse opens the door on March 24/25 paired with a Total Solar Eclipse on April 8. Sun and Moon. In their cosmic dance of sacred union.

Calendar Keeping – Solar, Lunar & Lunisolar Years
 
A Solar Year is the amount of time it takes for the sun to appear in the same spot in the sky, which is driven by to how long it takes the earth to orbit the sun.  A solar year is 365 years (plus a few hours)
 
A Lunar Year is based on the monthly cycles of the moon phases – and counts a year cycle complete when the moon comes back to the same spot in the same phase. Our moon is a fast mover, constantly shapeshifting! A pure lunar year is 354 days
 
A LuniSolar Year takes into account both the sun and moon cycle points to harmonize and include both.  The method of syncing the two calendars results in a “leap month” every second or third year. A “standard” lunar cycle has 12 moons, and a leap has 13. Of note – the sun and moon cycles & calendars sync up every 33 years.  One of the reasons the 33 is such a light encoded number. 
 
For any cycle – you have to pick a starting point as a marker. 
For the solar we use the equinox point – so a solar year begins on the March Equinox. A calendar year of course begins every January 1. A Lunar Year traditionally is determined by the tipping point to spring – the new moon closest to the cross quarter seasonal marker (halfway between solstice and equinox.
 
Lunar New Year
The sliver moons we can see just before dawn this week are the last glimpses of the 2023 moon.  The Lunar New marker is upon us.  We begin again!
​The New Moon is Friday February 9 at 5:59 pm EST/22:59 UCT and 6:59 am on February 10 in China. (this is why you will see Lunar New Year listed as Feb 10 – as we set our global lunar clocks by our Asian wisdom timekeepers).
Each Lunar year traditionally has a Chinese Zodiac animal guardian associated with it.  We are entering the 2024 Year of the Wood Dragon. Each Lunar year also has a governing element, this year is wood.

​The Dragon & The Phoenix Fly in Together
While the dragon energies are most palpable as we flow into this new lunar year – I have also been feeling a ton of Phoenix energies!! The Dragon and Phoenix energy signatures are similar to me.  Sometime the light being projections from my Andaras have this quality of being simultaneously a Dragon AND a Phoenix to me.  They code together. That has always intrigued me and made me want to explore more. 
 
Where I live, we had scant few days of sun in January.  One of the bright sun days was January 12,  I had been at Inner Space most of the day on January 11 – gridding with Andaras, as that is a gateway play day for me when much comes streaming in the 1/11- and the Andaras are my crystalline gridkeeping buddies on such an occasion. I had set in place a “grid” for my 1/11 ceremony – and walked in at just the right time the next morning to see the most glorious light show - and this light being flying on rainbow wings right out of Goldie.  We played and danced together for a while, and I took many pics and photos to celebrate and share.  

Exploring The Celestial Gateways
This light play 1/11 gateway day reignited my desire to connect more deeply with this Dragon/Phoenix doubling I was tuning into.  A bit of surfing and reading and googling about connections between the two I came across the factiod that in ancient traditions the Phoenix was considered the Yin Counterpart and “other half” of the yang dragon.  Bing Bing!  This hit the spot -this was in align with what I was feeling.  That the 2024 Lunar Year has the Dragon & The Phoenix riding in together – as a guardian pair!
As a Celestial Shaman does, I checked the skies and celestial sphere for these guardians – and found them in the Draco (Dragon) and Phoenix Constellations.  These two constellations sit across the sky from each other – and are North and South Celestial Pole Guaridans.  Draco the Dragon stars wrap around the northern celestial pole and keep “watch” over our North.  The Phoenix sits near the South Celestial pole.  With this cross sky placement – they can rise and set across from each other – opening a celestial gateway.  
During the New Moon and Lunar New Year window – the Dragon sits on the northern horizon, and the Phoenix sits on the southern.  Celestial Guardians keeping the gates.

2024 Lunar Year & The Eclipse Cycles
The First New Moon of Lunar 2024 is Feb 10 – Lunar New Year.  The second New Moon is March 10 – a Supermoon.  The Third New Moon of 2024 is a Lunar Eclipse.  This Lunar Eclipse is March 25, 2024.  And is the complement to the much-anticipated April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. All of these upcoming moons - full and new -  feel super potent, and will activate key codes in each one of us as we launch a new lunar cycle and prepare for the transformational eclipse cycle. I have crafted my Inner Space offerings to assist us all with this inner transformation.  
 
Both Dragon & Phoenix bring FIRE.  Fire burns down the old.  Fire consumes.  Fire Transforms. Fire Alchemizes. And we emerge anew - and build again - all NEW.
This process will be impactful – and bring so much through for us to work with too!  To assist us all in this inner transformation, I have designed an Inner Space Journey to bring through the light codes to your field and to bathe your field in sonic landscapes and skyscpaes where Phoenix & Dragons fly.
To assist as we flow through the gateways -  I have planned events on each of the moons building up to the Lunar Eclipse on March 24/25. These Launch with this weekend’s Lunar New Year Celebration with Sonic Alchemy of the Dragon & The Phoenix offered both in person and online.

They have come with me everywhere I go, every trip, every new spot, there they are, at my bedside. 
 
I have also assembled and activated Andara teams of the same color rays for sharing with all of YOU.  They flew with me to Phoenix and activated with me in Sedona.  They flew to Texas with me and activated more under the October eclipse. These sets wanted to come code with Goldie and the play with Dragon Phoenix Light being, what a fun and uplifting way to spend a morning!

When we have a Solar Eclipse alignment, the sun and the moon occupy the same spot in the sky.  A Lunar Eclipse – they are in direct opposition – across the sky from each other.
 
Solar Energies represent radiant expansive pulsating outward flow of plasma gas and heat and light – very firey.  Often associated with the masculine yang energies.
 
Lunar Energies are more reflective, inward, contemplative, yin settling quieting energies.  More associated with the feminine yin energetic.
 
This yin yang across the sky opposition energy is a powerful Celestial Gateway.  Celestial Bodies that are in opposition balance each other out.  One rises while the other sets.  One lowers in the sky and the other goes higher.  They also create a magnetic pull-pole-dynamic attraction that influences everything between them.
 
This includes YOU!  As an earthling, all of these astronomical events we track are geocentric, are events as observed from here on earth.  So, the horizon line of this rise and set polar opposite is the earth line.  We sit in the middle.  This very moment in earth long lens history is a short moment in galactic time when the disc of the sun and the moon happen to make the same diameter disc in the sky, so that they can cover and eclipse each other like this.  And YOU incarnated on this planet at this brief moment in time!  Why are you here?  What is your soul purpose?  What role do you fill in the big picture of humanity and globally? What is your heart and soul calling and how are you fulfilling it?
 
These are the questions that a lunar eclipse pull unearths.  We dig up all the old programming that gets in our way.  We honor and observe the shadows, using them as teaching tools.  In fact, they get brought front and center, highlighted by a Lunar Eclipse.  
 
You are smack in the middle of the strong magnetic pull to your need for quiet alone time and introspection, and your soul longing to make a big impact for the whole globe.  Each Lunar Eclipse contains this magnetic pull of opposites alignment, as does each Full Moon.  The Moon moves across the sky along the zodiac constellations rapidly, changing placements by the day.  The Sun has its annular journey across the zodiac constellations, building out a solar year.
 
Where the Sun and the Moon sit in the sky influence the solar system magnetics.  The pull of the planets, especially the ones closer to earth, have a strong geometric and magnetic influence.  They influence the body of the earth, the whole planet, AND they influence YOUR personal multidimensional energy field- heart, mind, soul and body. ​

During the Lunar Eclipse on October 28, 2023 - we have some cosmic players adding their pull.  The Sun sits in the sky with Mars & Mercury.  The Moon sits near Jupiter, and adjacent to Uranus & The Pleiades.
A push pull between the Jupiter Moon and the Mars Mercury infused Sun sets up a cosmic opportunity for growth and expansion!

DEEP IN THE HEART OF TEXAS - ECLIPSE CROSSROADS - 2023 & 2024

I got called to the Eclipse Path Crossroads…Deep in the Heart of Texas! Yee Haw!!

​We have two eclipses sweeping across the Americas within 7 months of each other - An Annular Solar Eclipse on October 14, 2023 and a Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024.  These two eclipses make a crossing - deep in the heart of Hill Country Texas.

I have been called to gridwork and gatekeep with the eclipse cycles since 2017.  This 2023/2024 Eclipse crossing is part of the larger Eclipse Cycle - the 2017 - 2024 Great North American Eclipse Cycle.

I was strongly called to be here in person - in the Crossroads of the Eclipse Paths.  That put me here in X marks the spot Texas Hill Country Heartland.

Our October 14, 2023 Annular (Ring of Fire) Solar Eclipse takes place in the Virgo Constellation.  The Sun & Moon unite as one, occupying the same exact sky spot, with the Sun behind the Moon.  When this cosmic union takes place, the sun and moon are in between Mercury and Mars, and entering the Gateway between Arcturus & Spica.

The Moon is the fast mover in this cosmic dance.  The Moon was with Mercury at 3 am CST, unites with the Sun at noon, and then moves along past Spica at 7 pm CST/around Sunset, and flows thought the Virgo Gateway (between Spica & Arcturus) then dances over to visit with Mars on October 15 at sunrise.
Cosmic Rising is when 2 celestial bodies rise together, and Cosmic setting is the set together.

Spica
Spica is the bright bluish star in the wheat stalks held by the Lady in the Sky – the constellation Virgo. It is regarded by all sky cultures as one of the most positive stars in the sky. In most cultures, the constellation Virgo was seen as the Goddess. In ancient Egypt, particularly the later periods, it was seen as the Goddess Isis, and the star Spica represented or embodied her son, Horus. In later Christian traditions, the constellation was associated with the Virgin Mary and Spica with the Christ-child (there is much research into the possibility that Spica was the biblical Star of Bethelehem). Others have the constellation representing the Goddess with Spica the star in Her hand or upholding some form of produce of the earth (most usually wheat).” - from spicaastrology .com

Both Sirius and Venus are emerging from the Solar Light, and rising just before dawn on the eastern horizon.  Sirius rises first, and is further south of east on the horizon line.  You will see the distinctive constellation Orion above.  The belt stars of Orion act like a pointer line to Sirius, below the 3 star belt and cloudy nebula.  Venus is brighter, and rises close to due east.  It is visible for longer as well, being brighter.

When a star is close in the sky to the sun, we are not able to view it.  When it moves out of the light sphere of the sunlight, and we can see it rising on its own again before dawn we are witnessing the Heliacal Rising.  This revelation moment, the Heliacal Rising, is an age old important noted time by sky watchers.  In Ancient sky watching cultures (which is all ancient cultures) the heliacal rising of stars was used a marker of time and a way to seat seasonal and annual calendars.  The ancient sky watchers and shamans were the ones who guided and informed the people of the important dates and were "keepers" of the calendars, set by the skies.  An important role would be the Keepers of the Dawn - to awake in the darkness and watch the skies.  A clear open vista to an eastern horizon line was a precious potent important point of observation.  Many a sacred site included a observatory temple space and often stone structure monuments to accentuate and highlight these celestial body rising - stars and planets, sun and moon risings.

Modern devices (calendars, moon charts, observatories) have made the role of rising and watching somewhat redundant. We can use the phones in our pockets to connect with many charts and data sets.  The task of being the Watcher, the Keeper of the Dawn is less critical to village life and has largely faded.  Yet, so many of us are remembering and re-awakening our innate skillsets as Celestial Shamans.  

Many of us have this sky watcher tendencies encoded in our being.  Where we feel the call to rise as Keepers of the Dawn.  It is truly why some of these traditions of waking and connecting in the cosmos have permeated so many sacred practices and rituals. Because this time of the day has a potent opening or gateway quality which is precious and pure.  the light that shines as day breaks is called brahmamuhurtha, the ambrosial hours, the amrit vela, the nectar of the gods, the honey of immortality. A similar ambrosial gateway exists at sunset.

As modern day Celestial Shamans, we rise at this hour for the love, the light, the joy of it.  To connect with the cosmos.  To receive inspiration and illumination.  To uplift the soul!

In early September, The Keepers of the Dawn are graced with TWO important celestial bodies rising before dawn.  Sirius and Venus.  Both became potentially visible mid/late August.  This visibility depends on your location, both longitude placement and sightline specific, as well as clear sky and weather influenced.  

My region has been blessed with much moisture this summer, which includes copious cloud cover.  I myself got my first clear glimpse of these celestial light beauties on September 1.

September 3 is of note as Venus & Sirius Cosmic Rising.  Cosmic Rising is when two celestial bodes rise together.  Venus completes a period of retrograde motion, and turns direct on September 3, so like a pendulum swing, that Venus turn direct point is as close as these two (Venus & Sirius) get together in the sky.

These two Celestial Beauties will grace our low east horizon early morning skies for the first few weeks of September.  Get up early to catch a glimpse.  This week Venus is rising around 4:20 am.  Venus is brighter.  Take note of Procyon, which triangulates between them.  Use the pointer stars of Orion's Belt to track your way to Sirius.  Venus in her diamond light will be obvious. Procyon is between them.
