MARS WITH ANTARES & THE CRESCENT MOON FOR THE LAST SUNRISE OF 2021Just before the sun rises, starting around 5:45 - 5:55 am EST, Mars rises in the East with the star Antares. Above and between them sits the crescent moon.
Antares and Mars have similar appearances in the sky. Astronomers actually named Antares as the "not mars" star when it was identified, for they were often confused for each other in the night sky, for their similar reddish orange hue. While seemingly similar in hue, they are VERY different celestial bodies, and that becomes apparent when they are placed side by side like this. Mars is a terrestrial rocky planet. Antares is a supergiant massive star. One is receptive and reflective, one is a producer of Light, Heat and Plasma. Both have indicators of FIRE, COURAGE, FIERCE WARRIOR determination in their mythologies. Mars & Antares were in exact conjunction on Dec 27 - read more here... All this fire power is tempered on this last morning of the year by the sliver of moon between them. May all cool calm heads prevail. May the fire determination and warrior spirits embodied by Mars & Antares lead you to new discovery, new explorations, new avenues of adventure. DECEMBER 30, 2021Mercury slides next to Pluto in the sky tonight! A powerful conjunction and planetary meet up! Visible just after sunset in the western sky. Venus will be big and bright. You can connect with this alignment more than see it. You might be able to see Mercury, depending on your location and sky condition and light pollution. Binoculars are helpful to spot dim Mercury, to the left of bright Venus. Pluto is being conjuncted and blocked by Mercury, and is too distant and dim to see without a strong telescope anyway. Mercury and Pluto meet up can assist you with unearthing and deconstructing deeply healed mental constructs. From Astrology King website: " Mercury Conjunct Pluto TransitMercury conjunct Pluto transit adds depth and intensity to your thinking and communications. This is a good time to get to the bottom of troubling issues. You can uncover secrets through study and research, or through probing and questioning others. You can more easily gain a thorough understanding of mysteries and occult subjects like astrology. Psychological self-analysis is favored. This would be an excellent time to visit a counselor or to gain a greater understanding of the dynamics of the relationships you are involved in. On the other hand, you can also use your mental powers to deceive others. You have a great power of persuasion and can influence other people. You can share spiritual truths just as easily as spreading propaganda. It is likely you will be more interested in serious subjects and may become involved in the darker side of life through criminality or addiction. Power struggles are possible at the intellectual level, and this could involve thought projection and other non-verbal ways of psyching people out. Nervous conditions are possible due to the intensity of your mind and the serious nature of the topics you may unearth. It is also possible that other people will find you too overbearing or interfering as if you are staring into their soul. Your power to influence can make others feel threatened. Relaxing will be important if you do find the intensity too much. It is possible to make profound discoveries during this transit. You may discover something very revealing about yourself, from deep within your soul. This may include spiritual links with ancestors and could lead to a spiritual transformation or sensation of transcending the physical limitations of your body." DECEMBER 28, 2021 Mercury & Venus meet up in the sky today!Pluto is in the neighborhood too, dialing in to its own December 30 conjunction with Mercury. Visible only briefly at twighlight, Venus bright, Mercury very faint (binoculars help much if you want to see the light of Mercury). DECEMBER 27, 2021MARS CONJUNCT ANTARES
DECEMBER 27, 2021 Mars Antares Conjunction Corridor December 26-31, 2021 with Cosmic Rising on January 1, 2022 Mars makes a sunrise conjunction this week with its legendary “rival” — the star Antares, “The Heart of the Scorpion” in the Scorpius Constellation. The two rise on the eastern horizon just before dawn for the remainder of the 2021 mornings. Mars rises just before Antares on Dec 27, and later and closer to Antares each day, until they rise simultaneously on January 1, 2022 (called the cosmic rising). Look for these two rivals in the east about 45 min before sunrise on the mornings of December 27, 28, 29, 30, 31. The crescent moon joins them on the last morning of 2021- December 31, 2021. Antares gets its name because it resembles Mars. Both bodies look reddish orange, and both are bright. Ancient skywatchers thought of Mars and the star as rivals, so the name Antares means “rival of Ares,” the Greek version of Mars. Antares lies along the ecliptic path the Sun and planets follow across the sky, so it is frequented by the sun, moon and the planets. And every couple of years, Mars passes quite close to it. Of course, any rivalry between a planet and star is one-sided. Mars is a ball of rock and metal a bit more than half the diameter of Earth. It looks red or orange because its surface is coated with orange dirt. Antares, on the other hand, is a supergiant, which makes it one of the biggest stars in our region of the galaxy. If Antares replaced the Sun in our own solar system, it would extend beyond the orbit of Mars — putting a quick end to its famous rival. Birthing SUNBIRTHING SUN
Our Sun is hanging out with THE BIRTHERS. SOLARIS (our sun) is sitting between Trifid and the Lagoon Nebula in the sky today. Nebulas are plasma rich star nurseries, where baby stars are born! Like humans, stars are also born at a certain time and place, and their birthplaces are what astronomers call nebulae or star nurseries. The name nebulae came from Latin, and it translates to English as "cloud." The nebulae do resemble a cloud, because of how they appear to us at night. The Lagoon Nebula (Messier 8 ) is a bright emission nebula in the constellation Sagittarius. It is an active stellar nursery, an area of dust and gas in space where stars are formed. It lies about 5,000 light-years away, near the center of our Milky Way Galaxy in the rich starfields of Sagittarius. The Trifid Nebula is a colorful combination of nebulae types that unite to create a celestial work of art. Cataloged as Messier 20. It lies approximately 5,000 light-years away in a nebula-rich, crowded starfield area of the night sky. It is often photographed next to the nearby by emission nebula, M8 (the Lagoon Nebula). Its name means “divided into three lobes”, as the dark nebula in this object creates the apparent “gaps” within the emission nebula portion of the Trifid. Messier 20 includes a unique combination of an open cluster of stars, an emission nebula, a reflection nebula, and a dark nebula. All of these elements combine to create one of the most stunning deep sky objects in our night sky. This is not a visual thing, to try to look at in the sky. All you will see is the sun. When the sun sits next to another celestial feature, like a nebula, we can feel the energy flow of that neighbor in the sun rays, sun codes. We’re all made from stardust, but it’s in these star nurseries that we’re actually from! The sun moves into this sky spot right after the December Solstice every year. For those of us in the northern hemisphere, this coincides with the “birth of light” as we move into the cycle of longer days. And Southern Hemisphere, it conincides with summer solstice, full solar expression. solstice SunriseSOLSTICE SUNRISE Light Codes Setting Moon Rising Sun Andaras Song codes Crazy Crazy Crazy by Micheal Franti Shine on All my people who've been broken hearted Shine on From the place where all life had been started When you need fresh air Go beyond horizons To your place in the sun Shine on Let your heart be boundless Like your faith in the one Sing on From the language of your ancestors and Sing on Be playful in your innocence and Lift your head up high And rejoice for all you see Without your eyes Sing on Like a bird that's making love in sunset skies Listen link here : https://youtu.be/QeskWG7giXs Full Moon with Crab NebulaFULL MOON tonight
