Cetus Solar Gateway opensOnce a year, in March, the SUN clips the corner of the area of the sky demarked by astronomers as the CETUS constellation. This year, the day that the sun flows along it's path and shines a corner of light on the Cetus constellation is March 27, 2022.
When the sun sets tonight, it will be in the corner of the Cetus constellation. This will OPEN the CETUS Gateway. Cetus is a Celestial Equator Constellation, that sits just below Pisces and Aries, adjacent to Taurus. Cetus is a Whale/Sea Dragon/Sea Serpent/Sea Monster. "The Mythology of Cetus Cetus, the whale or sea monster, was a minion of Poseidon, the god of the oceans. One day Poseidon was angered by Cassiopeia, the mother of Andromeda, for boasting of her daughter’s beauty and claiming it to be greater than Poseidon’s minions, the Neried. Angered by this, Poseidon sent Cetus to attack Cassiopeia’s kingdom of Ethiopia. Afraid, Cassiopiea offered her daughter to the monster by chaining her to a rock. Hearing of this, Perseus used Medusa’s head to turn Cetus to stone while freeing Andromeda from her chains. Upon his death, Cetus was placed in the stars as a reminder of Perseus’ bravery but also to warn people against anger or jealousy." from: https://www.globeatnight.org/mythology/cetus "In Ancient Greek kētŏs, Latinized as cetus is any huge sea creature or sea monster. According to the mythology, Perseus slew Cetus to save Andromeda from being sacrificed to it. The term cetacean (for whale) derives from cetus. In Greek art, ceti were depicted as serpentine fish. The name of the mythological figure Ceto is derived from kētos. The name of the constellation Cetus also derives from this word. In Greek mythology, Cetus was the sea monster that was sent by Poseidon to devour Andromeda. Cetus was variously described as a sea monster or sea serpent. Cetus was said to be a colossal beast the size of a ship, and there are notable physical and mythological similarities between cetus and drakōn - the dragons in Greek mythology." from wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cetus_(mythology)

EQUINOX – THE START OF A NEW ASTRONOMICAL YEARThe moment of an equinox is an exact alignment where the sun hits the spot where the ecliptic meets the celestial equator.
Let’s decode and unpack that together….staring with some basic astronomical definitions to lay our foundation… Celestial Sphere – The sphere of the sky dome is called the celestial sphere. Each point of light in the night sky looks as if it is moving along a dome above us. Imagine you and I were sitting in a planetarium together, looking up at the domed ceiling. The objects in the universe are represented by points of light projected onto the ceiling. The second half of the sphere is the daytime sky “below” us, on the other side of the planet. Celestial Equator – the celestial equator is a projection of the earth’s equator up onto the celestial sphere. Celestial Body – a star/sun or planet, moon, asteroid or comet – and body that lives in space. They show up as dots of light in our night sky. The Ecliptic is the pathway the sun makes across the sky. You can read more about it here: https://www.innerspacevoyages.com/blog/the-sun-the-ecliptic-path Planet Pathways - Because of the way the solar system was formed – and the nature of creative and cosmic forces – most of our solar system orbits the sun on a plane. So the pathway of the planets and the moon closely follow this same ecliptic path through the sky. It is worth taking note that the moon deviates from this path regularly. With its monthly fluctuations, these lunar standstills are a subject to explore later together…. Seasons and Tilt – Planet earth has a tilt on axis, which initiates and governs the cycle of our seasons. If the axis of rotation and the axis of revolution were set at the same angle, every day would be the same as far as length of day and night, and we would have uniform light levels and therefore seasons. It is the tip of the northern or southern hemisphere towards or away from the sun that makes winter and summer, spring and fall, cooler and hotter times of the year. Because our planet earth has this tip to its rotational axis, the celestial equator flows at a different angle across the sky from the ecliptic. Here is a graphic to help you picture it: The Equinox Moment –The Equinox is astronomically defined as when the Sun meets the point on the sky dome where the ecliptic crosses the celestial equator. This defines an astronomical new year. These two images highlight this equinox moment: Images from: https://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentials/why-equinox-sun-rises-east-sets-west-entire-globe/ MArch 5, 2022Jupiter has moved into the same section of the sky as our Sun. We cannot see Jupiter right now, it is within the glare of the sun. When we see a Jupiter next, it will be a predawn morning “star”.
When a planet conjuncts the sun, the sun sends out signals, codes from that planetary body, along with the usual solar light. Welcome in the expansive JUPITER CODES coming your way today. Where in your life could you use more expansion? More free flow? Infuse that part of your body, that relationship, that activity or section of your energy field. Maximize your EXPANSION under today’s Jupiter Sun. Also of note is the placement in the constellation of Aquarius - and in this image, directly in the waterfall flow of the water bearer pour. We have noticed a lot of flooding and water/weather activity on planet earth building up to this conjunction. Plus a wellspring of emotions flowing around the globe too. |
