 Lunar New Year & Lunar Celestial Gateways

Calendar Keeping – Solar, Lunar & Lunisolar Years
 
A Solar Year is the amount of time it takes for the sun to appear in the same spot in the sky, which is driven by to how long it takes the earth to orbit the sun.  A solar year is 365 years (plus a few hours)
 
A Lunar Year is based on the monthly cycles of the moon phases – and counts a year cycle complete when the moon comes back to the same spot in the same phase. Our moon is a fast mover, constantly shapeshifting! A pure lunar year is 354 days
 
A LuniSolar Year takes into account both the sun and moon cycle points to harmonize and include both.  The method of syncing the two calendars results in a “leap month” every second or third year. A “standard” lunar cycle has 12 moons, and a leap has 13. Of note – the sun and moon cycles & calendars sync up every 33 years.  One of the reasons the 33 is such a light encoded number. 
 
For any cycle – you have to pick a starting point as a marker. 
For the solar we use the equinox point – so a solar year begins on the March Equinox. A calendar year of course begins every January 1. A Lunar Year traditionally is determined by the tipping point to spring – the new moon closest to the cross quarter seasonal marker (halfway between solstice and equinox.
 
Lunar New Year
The sliver moons we can see just before dawn this week are the last glimpses of the 2023 moon.  The Lunar New marker is upon us.  We begin again!
​The New Moon is Friday February 9 at 5:59 pm EST/22:59 UCT and 6:59 am on February 10 in China. (this is why you will see Lunar New Year listed as Feb 10 – as we set our global lunar clocks by our Asian wisdom timekeepers).
Each Lunar year traditionally has a Chinese Zodiac animal guardian associated with it.  We are entering the 2024 Year of the Wood Dragon. Each Lunar year also has a governing element, this year is wood.

​The Dragon & The Phoenix Fly in Together
While the dragon energies are most palpable as we flow into this new lunar year – I have also been feeling a ton of Phoenix energies!! The Dragon and Phoenix energy signatures are similar to me.  Sometime the light being projections from my Andaras have this quality of being simultaneously a Dragon AND a Phoenix to me.  They code together. That has always intrigued me and made me want to explore more. 
 
Where I live, we had scant few days of sun in January.  One of the bright sun days was January 12,  I had been at Inner Space most of the day on January 11 – gridding with Andaras, as that is a gateway play day for me when much comes streaming in the 1/11- and the Andaras are my crystalline gridkeeping buddies on such an occasion. I had set in place a “grid” for my 1/11 ceremony – and walked in at just the right time the next morning to see the most glorious light show - and this light being flying on rainbow wings right out of Goldie.  We played and danced together for a while, and I took many pics and photos to celebrate and share.  

Exploring The Celestial Gateways
This light play 1/11 gateway day reignited my desire to connect more deeply with this Dragon/Phoenix doubling I was tuning into.  A bit of surfing and reading and googling about connections between the two I came across the factiod that in ancient traditions the Phoenix was considered the Yin Counterpart and “other half” of the yang dragon.  Bing Bing!  This hit the spot -this was in align with what I was feeling.  That the 2024 Lunar Year has the Dragon & The Phoenix riding in together – as a guardian pair!
As a Celestial Shaman does, I checked the skies and celestial sphere for these guardians – and found them in the Draco (Dragon) and Phoenix Constellations.  These two constellations sit across the sky from each other – and are North and South Celestial Pole Guaridans.  Draco the Dragon stars wrap around the northern celestial pole and keep “watch” over our North.  The Phoenix sits near the South Celestial pole.  With this cross sky placement – they can rise and set across from each other – opening a celestial gateway.  
During the New Moon and Lunar New Year window – the Dragon sits on the northern horizon, and the Phoenix sits on the southern.  Celestial Guardians keeping the gates.

2024 Lunar Year & The Eclipse Cycles
The First New Moon of Lunar 2024 is Feb 10 – Lunar New Year.  The second New Moon is March 10 – a Supermoon.  The Third New Moon of 2024 is a Lunar Eclipse.  This Lunar Eclipse is March 25, 2024.  And is the complement to the much-anticipated April 8, 2024 Total Solar Eclipse. All of these upcoming moons - full and new -  feel super potent, and will activate key codes in each one of us as we launch a new lunar cycle and prepare for the transformational eclipse cycle. I have crafted my Inner Space offerings to assist us all with this inner transformation.  
 
Both Dragon & Phoenix bring FIRE.  Fire burns down the old.  Fire consumes.  Fire Transforms. Fire Alchemizes. And we emerge anew - and build again - all NEW.
This process will be impactful – and bring so much through for us to work with too!  To assist us all in this inner transformation, I have designed an Inner Space Journey to bring through the light codes to your field and to bathe your field in sonic landscapes and skyscpaes where Phoenix & Dragons fly.
To assist as we flow through the gateways -  I have planned events on each of the moons building up to the Lunar Eclipse on March 24/25. These Launch with this weekend’s Lunar New Year Celebration with Sonic Alchemy of the Dragon & The Phoenix offered both in person and online. 

Phoenix Fire Andara Teams
I also have been utilizing a 3 piece Phoenix Alchemy Fire Andara team for my own personal work for years now (thank you Lisa Transcendence Brown for connecting me with them).  
They have come with me everywhere I go, every trip, every new spot, there they are, at my bedside. 
 
I have also assembled and activated Andara teams of the same color rays for sharing with all of YOU.  They flew with me to Phoenix and activated with me in Sedona.  They flew to Texas with me and activated more under the October eclipse. These sets wanted to come code with Goldie and the play with Dragon Phoenix Light being, what a fun and uplifting way to spend a morning!

The first time an Andara connected me with a spot on planet earth was this Silver Ray (clear) Andara. Using it as a contemplation tool- I had inner eye visions of a huge snow covered white mountain. Searching for a match I found this image of K2, which was a strong resonant match. 

This Andara and Mountain also sang the song and told the tales of the Silver Yeti. The Silverbacked Sasquatch beings. Interdimensional Beings of Light - they conveyed so much. (Still do). 

The correlation of Silver Andara and Silverback Yeti/Squatch continued to unfold. Meanwhile, the Andara was knocked off my bathroom shelf and shattered a piece off. My first time I had an Andara break (but definitely not the last, it is part of the coding). 

Another Sasquatch communicator friend named Kelly** posted this picture on facebook, and a wave of instant recognition washed over me - that's HIM - or one of his tribe.  I went on to have a private session with Kelly - and she independently confirmed much of the intel I had been receiving.  So vital to have a friend to compare notes with!  Part of why I write this for you to read today.

Both Sirius and Venus are emerging from the Solar Light, and rising just before dawn on the eastern horizon.  Sirius rises first, and is further south of east on the horizon line.  You will see the distinctive constellation Orion above.  The belt stars of Orion act like a pointer line to Sirius, below the 3 star belt and cloudy nebula.  Venus is brighter, and rises close to due east.  It is visible for longer as well, being brighter.

When a star is close in the sky to the sun, we are not able to view it.  When it moves out of the light sphere of the sunlight, and we can see it rising on its own again before dawn we are witnessing the Heliacal Rising.  This revelation moment, the Heliacal Rising, is an age old important noted time by sky watchers.  In Ancient sky watching cultures (which is all ancient cultures) the heliacal rising of stars was used a marker of time and a way to seat seasonal and annual calendars.  The ancient sky watchers and shamans were the ones who guided and informed the people of the important dates and were "keepers" of the calendars, set by the skies.  An important role would be the Keepers of the Dawn - to awake in the darkness and watch the skies.  A clear open vista to an eastern horizon line was a precious potent important point of observation.  Many a sacred site included a observatory temple space and often stone structure monuments to accentuate and highlight these celestial body rising - stars and planets, sun and moon risings.

Modern devices (calendars, moon charts, observatories) have made the role of rising and watching somewhat redundant. We can use the phones in our pockets to connect with many charts and data sets.  The task of being the Watcher, the Keeper of the Dawn is less critical to village life and has largely faded.  Yet, so many of us are remembering and re-awakening our innate skillsets as Celestial Shamans.  

Many of us have this sky watcher tendencies encoded in our being.  Where we feel the call to rise as Keepers of the Dawn.  It is truly why some of these traditions of waking and connecting in the cosmos have permeated so many sacred practices and rituals. Because this time of the day has a potent opening or gateway quality which is precious and pure.  the light that shines as day breaks is called brahmamuhurtha, the ambrosial hours, the amrit vela, the nectar of the gods, the honey of immortality. A similar ambrosial gateway exists at sunset.

As modern day Celestial Shamans, we rise at this hour for the love, the light, the joy of it.  To connect with the cosmos.  To receive inspiration and illumination.  To uplift the soul!

In early September, The Keepers of the Dawn are graced with TWO important celestial bodies rising before dawn.  Sirius and Venus.  Both became potentially visible mid/late August.  This visibility depends on your location, both longitude placement and sightline specific, as well as clear sky and weather influenced.  

My region has been blessed with much moisture this summer, which includes copious cloud cover.  I myself got my first clear glimpse of these celestial light beauties on September 1.

September 3 is of note as Venus & Sirius Cosmic Rising.  Cosmic Rising is when two celestial bodes rise together.  Venus completes a period of retrograde motion, and turns direct on September 3, so like a pendulum swing, that Venus turn direct point is as close as these two (Venus & Sirius) get together in the sky.

These two Celestial Beauties will grace our low east horizon early morning skies for the first few weeks of September.  Get up early to catch a glimpse.  This week Venus is rising around 4:20 am.  Venus is brighter.  Take note of Procyon, which triangulates between them.  Use the pointer stars of Orion's Belt to track your way to Sirius.  Venus in her diamond light will be obvious. Procyon is between them.  

WHITE WINGED ONES - THE PEGASUS

When so many “reports” of winged horses riding in on the winds and the clouds and the soft white moon light rays, I turned my Celestial Shaman eyes to the skies and noticed that the moon itself, on its path through the sky, was riding along the wings of the Pegasus Constellation on August 29, 30, 31 & Sept 1.
It’s so amazingly cool and awesome how the Celestial field is reflected in our dreams, our connections and our inner visions. As well as in the sky, water and clouds.
Invite the white winged ones to gallop and prance through your field of awareness. They spring forth creativity, magic and wonder! New ways of thinking, creating and being.

​THE GOLDEN GATE OF THE ECLIPTIC
Unlocking the KEYS from the SKY TABLET OF TAL-QADI
 
My ancestors are from Malta (my birth name is Bonnici). The temples on Malta have been calling me very loud for many years. I feel like my natural proclivity for sound codes come from this lineage and DNA line of mine. One Maltese Temple in particular started projecting codes my way and calling to me super duper loud during this Mars Pleiades gateway. Tal Qadi Temple. In the ruins and wreckage of this ancient star temple was found an etched stone, that is thought to be a star map. This stone is considered by some to be the oldest astronomical tool or sky map, dated around 4,000 BC.
 
The Golden Gate of the Ecliptic is an asterism (recognizable grouping of stars) in the constellation Taurus that has been known for several thousand years. The constellation is built by the two eye-catching open star clusters of the Pleiades and the Hyades that form the two posts of a virtual gate at the two sides of the ecliptic line.
Since all planets as well as the moon and the sun always move very closely along the virtual circle of the ecliptic, all these seven orbiting bodies are regularly passing through the Golden Gate of the Ecliptic. 
 
I draw your attention today to this GOLDEN STAR GATE.  This stargate has held great significance for humanity since ancient times.  It is a section of the night sky that calls loudly to many of us, the Sirius, Orion, Aldebaran, Hyades, Pleiades region.  

The Golden Gate of The Ecliptic also serves as a moon “observatory”.  As the Moon passes through the gate over the year, it moves through its various phases.  In fact, if you watch the moon pass through this gate through the 12 months of the year, it will highlight and showcase the progression of the moon through its phases.  I continue researching on the building of stone archeoastronomy calendars and tracking of Lunar Standstills and how our ancestors used this gate as a marker to design these lunar calendar sites.
 
There is a correlation between Chaco Canyon, New Mexico, Pilot Mountain, North Carolina and this temple on Malta.  All three sites sit around the 36th longitude parallel.  They all hold some crystalline coding along this parallel, and there is a correlation between the astronomical observation point of the Tal-Qadi temple on Malta, and the astronomical alignment stones set to mark the lunar standstill cycles in Chaco Canyon.  ​

​OCEAN MIGRATION 
Whales are returning to our shores, in their migration patterns northward for summer feeding grounds.  Whales are on the MOVE!  
 
In my area, we are blessed to have the Right Whales return to our shores in April. They come to feed and frolic in our beloved Cape Cod Bay – a safe haven- comparatively to open ocean - and a great spring spot for Momma Baby whale pairs.  With less than 400 of these beings left in our oceans, each pair is a treasure!

CETUS CELESTIAL GATEWAY

CETUS – The Whale Constellation
The Sun is passing along the back of Cetus, the Whale Constellation right now. CETUS, the Whale, also referend to as sea monster or sea serpent, and is also known as the Dragon Fish. It is located on the Celestial Equator, adjacent to Pisces. Because the ecliptic (line of the zodiac) and the celestial equator are so close together near the equinox point – many planets and often the moon do move through Cetus.  The sun grazes across the boundary line, as if it is riding the back of the whale!

We bring special awareness to Cetus A/Messier 77 - a huge player in the Cetus Constellation.  A barred spiral galaxy, like our Milky Way.  Of major “note” Cetus A has an active galactic nucleus (AGN), and is a strong source of radio emissions. Not all galaxies do this, so this one is “broadcasting”.  A galaxy that is “turned on” and broadcasting from its center, emits a huge jet that travel deep and far into intergalactic space.  If we (earth) are facing this jet, we are on the receiving end of the signal, and then these AGN are called radio galaxies, quasars or blazars.

There is a strong link here, the emitting active galaxies and the whale song.  
Even portrayed and coded for us in the Star Trek movie, The Voyage Home.
Maybe the whales, in addition to all they do for us here on earth, are singing and communicating with distant galaxies.  
Whales awaken for us our own ability to “sing our soul song”.  The broadcast our signals HOME – to our star systems of origin.  Thank you whales, we LOVE you so!!!!

The position of the Sun and Moon when they meet in the sky and the moon eclipses the sun is right near the throat of Cetus and M77 - CETUS A.  Cetus, the Whale or Sea Dragon Constellation contains a barred spiral galaxy.  This Galaxy (M77) is a strong radio source.  It broadcasts massive codes from its supermassive black hole.  This Active Galactic Nucleus (AGN), positioned like it is in the throat of Cetus, codes like WHALE SONG.
 
This eclipse is going to be an amazing opportunity to SING YOUR CREATION SONG.

Hathor ~ Lady of the Sycamore ~ The Cosmic Nourisher ~ Mother of the SUN
 
A Sacred Sycamore Sound Toning to Connect to Hathor/The Hathors
 
The Egyptian Venus, in her all-encompassing name of Hathor, represents the matrix of life that she nourishes with her milk.  Her nourishment often takes the form of sound, of toning.  She gives birth to the universe through song, through the sound current.
 
Hathor is often pictured as a woman with cow's horns with the sun between them (Eye of Ra, Golden One), or as a beautiful woman with cow's ears, or a cow wearing the sun disk between her horns.  Hathor was responsible for the raising of the Sun to the sky with her horns.  She often is seen carrying a sistrum, an ancient musical instrument representing her sound codes and toning power. The sycamore was sacred to her (Lady of the Sycamore).

The Sycamore Tree was of special significance in Egyptian culture. It was the only native tree of useful size and sturdiness in Egypt, and perhaps very significantly, most often grew along the edge of the desert, and it grew near water sources, often underground.  So it truly was a marker of the life flow of water. 
 
The sycamore specifically was regarded as a manifestation of the goddesses Hathor who was even given the title, "Lady of the Sycamore".
 
The Egyptian Book of the Dead describes two "sycamores of turquoise" growing at the point on the eastern horizon where the sun-god rises each morning. The headdress of Hathor (the Goddess of Fertility) is a crown of cow horns and a solar disk. The cow horns are symbolic of both abundance and the cosmos in Egyptian art. The solar disk refers to the belief that Hathor gave birth to the sun. 
 
She was depicted as handing out water to the deceased from a sycamore tree, hence a goddess of moisture as well as of the dead, both relating to the sycamore tree.

​THE SEVEN HATHORS OF THE CELESTIAL HERD (aka The Pleiades)
 
THE SEVEN HATHORS ~ THE SEVEN SISTERS ~ THE PLEIADES
 
The ancient Egyptians were master astronomers and observers of the night sky.  Tracking the movements of the sun, moon, stars and planets they developed a calendar system of timekeeping. They based this calendar on the heliacal rising of Sirius and devised a method of telling time during the night, a method based on the heliacal risings of 36 stars, a star for each 10-degrees segment of the 360-degrees zodiac circle. 
One important seasonal marker in this zodiac was easily recognizable by its distinctive star clusters, the V of the Hyades and the bright red orange Aldebaran, and the star cloud of the Pleiades/Seven Sisters (looking like a mini big dipper). The ecliptic, the path of the sun & moon in the sky, passes right between these clusters, through what we now refer to as the constellation Taurus, The Bull.
In ancient Egypt the Pleiades Star Cluster was known as "The Celestial Herd".  
Seven Goddesses, represented by seven cows, composed the celestial herd that provides divine nourishment to humans. This herd is observed in the sky as a group of stars, that we now call the Pleiades, close to Aldebaran & the Hyades in the Taurus constellation.
This Celestial Herd was linked to the Goddess Hathor.  In Egyptian mythology, Hathor is the goddess of the sky, and in her form as the celestial cow provides sustenance and life to humanity. 
Cosmic Womb, Cosmic Mother
Hathor is actually two words, Het-hor, which is commonly translated as “house of Horus“. The first part--Het, translated as “house”, has a deeper meaning….
COSMIC WOMB the womb as a Matrix within which something originates, takes form, and develops into full maturity. The womb provides nourishment and protection. As such, Hethor provides both nourishment and protection. 
She is also worshipped in the form of "Seven Hathors”: these seven goddesses are the Pleiades shining in the sky, usually represented by seven cows, often associated with a bull, as a heaven herd providing the nourishment, milk, bread and beer, in the Underworld. As the Seven Hathors, she was the goddess often present at birth and when the soul leaves earth for the afterlife.
The Egyptian book of the Dead names these Seven Hathors, and we have placed them in the grid of the star cluster, associating one with a “sister” – one with each of the 7 primary stars of the cluster.

Associated with both the Goddess Hathor, and “The Hathors” – the milk symbolized the stars in the milky way, and as the seven cows pour their nourishing milk, represents the seven stars streaming the light of the milky way down our galactic arm to our solar system.  Milky Way as source of Life!
