THE FIVE ELEMENTS OF LIFE
We all seek a life of balance and harmony. A body, mind and soul tuned in to the cycles of the seasons and the rhythms of life. A body in tune operates in a free flow state with ample energy and light to generate self-healing. We turn to ancient systems of health and longevity and see the basis of each one is a common focus on the Five Elements of Life. The 5 elemental building blocks of life are earth, water, fire, air, and ether/space. These 5 elements in combination make the matter of the universe, including your body. 
The 5 Elements offer a gateway to beauty, freedom, sensory pleasure and joy.
 
YOGA & QIGONG offer sweet flowing movements to free up your body and align it with the elemental flows of life.

EXPLORE THE FIVE ELEMENTS
Earth
Strength, endurance, steady, grounded, rich in details, slow moving, dense, solid, formed, unyielding (but to strong force), inertia, dependability, long lasting, constant
Water
Fluid, moveable, shape shifting (forms to any container), cleansing, heavy, downward flow, smooth, soft edges and boundaries, receptive (can take in, take on), follows path of least resistance, creates connection (between earth and air)
Fire
Sharp, hot, piercing, expands upward, directional, comes to a sharp point, vivid, luminous (allows vision and sight), transformative, digests, assimilates, alchemizes one state to another (base metal to pure gold)
Air
Expansive, open, mobile, dry, edgy, like the crackle of dry leaves, thoughts/mind, inclusive, far reaching, connects (breath), fluid (lighter and rougher than water), powerful, gusty, creates movement, transports thru space
Ether
Subtle, soft, light, clear, open, unbounded and free, subtle container of all other elements, medium of consciousness, waves (of sound, of vibration).

How does all pervading spirit/source consciousness become form? 
Ancient Wisdom Schools describe this manifestation process of spirit into matter as a stepped down system via the pathways of the Five Elements. 
These five elemental harmonics of resonance: Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. 
The elements represent progressive stages in the cycle of movement of energy from Spirit into matter. They form the in-volutionary pathways, from above to below, from Ether to Earth, from subtle Spirit

Red as Earth manifests as your bones
Orange in Flow manifests as your blood and fluids that bathes your cells
Yellow as the Sun manifests as your fire of assimilation (digestion, drive, action)
Green grows as a meadow, a field of love and compassion in your heart
Bright Blue of the Sky becomes your voice and your audio receptor

As Jen guides you through Qi Gong and Yoga moves to support balance of elements in the physical and energy bodies, Julie will provide the resonant soundscape and work the energy flows.  We will end with a deep relaxation and soundscape.
