Align Your Inner Solar System

 So many of us are familiar with and find knowledge, power and comfort in the science of astrology.  You may have seen your Natal Chart, which shows you the position of the planets in relation to the earth at the time of your birth.  You may resonate with being a certain sun or moon sign and identify with those qualities (ie – I am a Libra Sun sign, I seek balance and justice).
 
So, why does that matter?  Why does Astrology “work”?
Bodies in Space, especially large ones like stars and moons and planets, exert influence over each other.  Through gravity, through movement, and through light and sound code exchanges.
 
Your birth chart (if done by a Western trained astrologer) tracks the movement of the sun, moon and planets around the zodiac.  The line that the sun traces across the sphere of the sky (as seen by us earthlings) is called the ecliptic.  The planets also follow this ecliptic path.  Zodiac are the 12 constellations that the sun moves through as it draws this pathway across in the sky.  The division of the 360 degree circle into 12 pieces or houses is a way of tracking which stellar “sector” in the sky a particular planet is during a particular day or season.  In addition to the traditional way of seeing the planets as circling the sun (you) and being in a certain house, there is also celestial geometry involved, what angular degree the planets sit in relation to each other (ie – conjunctions, oppositions, trines, etc).
 
The “theory” is that your soul chose a very particular date and time to be embodied on this earth.  That particular snap shot of the moment of your birth can tell you so much about what was happening in the solar system, and the position of the solar bodies in relation to the earth and as seen from your birth location (longitude and latitude) on earth.  It is a double direction influence; you chose an exact alignment for the moment of your birth.  And you are influenced by this solar alignment pattern as your human body and personality form.
 
And when you move forward through your years as a human, some of the placements get highlighted and revisited (ie, returns and retrogrades and such) – and getting a skilled astrology reading gives you a ton of information about the overall patterns of your life trajectory.
 
I have an additional layer of knowledge to assist you with….that the alignments are affecting you each and every day of your human life.  While it is impractical to get a chart read every month of your life, there are some celestial alignments that make paying attention to your inner solar system, and it’s relationship to the large solar system we live in important.
 
This summer of 2018 is one of those times for sure! July of 2018, we are being gifted with some fabulous planetary illuminations.  We are able to see on this short summer nights (for my Northern Hemisphere dwelling friends) 5 planets with the naked eye.  Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mars.  Mercury and Venus are twilight and early evening setting stars.  Jupiter in it’s expanded glory shines brightly all night.  And right now Saturn joins and follows along the ecliptic right behind Jupiter in the night sky, further to the south east.  Mars is very close by to earth, since it is in orbital opposition of the sun.  It shows up right now in the wee hours of the night and shines a bright reddish distinctive light.  We also have a very unusual solar system “situation” as right now, all 8 planets are on one side of the solar system.  (http://scienceglobalnews.com/space/all-planets-will-align-on-one-side-of-the-sun-in-very-rare-cosmic-positioning/ )

As someone who tracks and carefully watches the sky, both daytime and night time, I have been very drawn to investigate and read up to educate myself on these brilliant lights and “super star” planets.  They have been very bright, very loud, very vibrant in their communications to me.  They communicate in light codes, in vibrations.  Every one of us can tune in to actively receive these communication codes – aka planetary influences on our home planet earth and on our individual human bodies.
