CELESTIAL PLACEMENTS OF THE
New MOON Solar Eclipse
February 17, 2026
|
The Solar Eclipse on Feb 17 occurs in the Constellation of Aquarius.
Right "above" Aquarius on the sky dome is Equuleus - The Horse Constellation. Very fitting placement as we usher in the Lunar Year of the Horse. Next door to Equuleus is the Pegasus Constellation. These 2 celestial horses are the guardians of this eclipse corridor. |
Eclipse Corridor: FEb 17 - March 3
From sunrise Tuesday February 17 through sunrise March 3 we are in the Eclipse Corridor.
LUNAR DISC ECLIPSE
What makes an eclipse?
The celestial wonder that is our Moon.
The fact that the solar disc and the lunar disc, the circle that each body makes in the sky is the same size, as viewed from here on earth. That “feature” - that happenstance is a moment in galactic time. By design or by “our luck and magic” we live on earth during this time where the disc of the moon can cover over the disc of the sun. This blocks our view of the sun for some moments, and is visible from a certain small narrow pathway on the earth’s surface each time it happens.
A Solar Eclipse is always during a new moon, as the moon must move between the earth and the sun to make the moment happen.
The orbit path of the moon is tilted 5 degrees from the orbit pathway of the sun in our sky, so not every new moon has an eclipse alignment. We usually get 2-3 Solar Eclipses per year. Visible from a small distinct pathway on the globe. The moon is a fast mover in our sky, moving along each day, each hour, completing an orbit all around each month. Because of the position of the planets for our upcoming eclipse- the moon is “paying a visit” to many planetary bodies (planets, stars) during this eclipse corridor. We mapped out the path and alignments and have complied to,share with you.
The moon refelects. The moon mirrors. The moon receives and rebroadcasts the light from the sun, the stars, the celestial bodies so we can examine them in a new way. It can be softer, easier to see and process, perceive.
The Moon is with:
Pluto on Feb 15
Mars on Feb 16
Sun on Feb 17 (Solar Eclipse)
Venus on Feb 18
Mercury on Feb 18
Neptune on Feb 19
Saturn on Feb 19
Uranus on Feb 22
Pleiades on Feb 22
Jupiter on Feb 26-27
Beehive Cluster on Feb 28
Rigel on March 1-2
Earth* March 3 ( Lunar Eclipse)
(*our moon fo course is always with our earth, this last alignment is the Lunar Eclipse on March 3, the close of this Eclipse Corridor), where the earth casts a shadow over the moon, blocking the full moon from the full sunlight)
We are in a powerful corridor for self reflection. Each planet represents an aspect of Soul. An aspect of you. The Moon highlighting these aspects, and the deep dive of the eclipse energies make this an excellent opportunity for clearing and aligning within and without!
Come on this Eclipse Corridor with us at Inner Space as we explore each celestial alignment, what it means and offers you and dive deep together and gatekeep this celestial gateway. We will keep posting here on this page as we flow through the gateway.
