Solar Eclipse in the Mouth of the Lion

Sun & Moon Meet near the "Lion's Mouth Star" in Leo

August 12, 2026 brings us a Solar Eclipse.
We can work with eclipses in a multitude of ways. At Inner Space we are dialed into two primary fields - Terrestrial and Celestial.  Terrestrial is "of the earth" - the location on earth the eclipse is visible from, the pathway, and the impact on the energy fields of the earth - and all of the creatures who live on our planet.  This means YOU and your human body - energetic, mental, emotional and physical. Celestial is "of the sky" and we tune into the palace and space in the sky - on the celestial sphere the eclipses take place.  We mark the Celestial Eclipse Gateway constellation or the Celestial Abode the eclipse takes place in, as well as what other celestial bodies (stars or planets) are nearby.  Each gateway is unique and will interface in a special way.

WHEN & WHERE

maps, pathways, places and timing for visibility

Below are maps of the pathway of visibility.  The path of the moon takes it directly in front of the sun for just a small surface slice of earth.  The exact line drawn is called the path of totality, because if you are standing on this path looking up, the moon will exactly block out the sun.  A Total Solar Eclipse is when the moon is aligned at the precise orbit that makes the lunar disc the same size as the solar disc - and moon eclipses sun.  A Partial Solar Eclipse is when the moon is lightly farther from earth and there is a "ring of fire" visible of the sun - as the sun disc is larger in the sky than the moon disc.
Today we have a TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE

Where I live, in Massachusetts  - we are in the 17% coverage area - so a partial view will be visible.  In EST the eclipse beings at 1 pm, peaks at 1:55 pm, and is over before 3 pm.  To find your own location alignments visit:

Working with Solar Zodiac Gateways
We use zodiac constellations as markers to define and “section” the sky as the sun moves on its path across the sky. The Sun’s path Is called the Ecliptic.  Along the ecliptic are 12 Constellations – that we call the Zodiac.  Anyone who has dabbled in astrology will be familiar with their names…Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces.

Each constellation has its own boundaries (like a city or town) on the landscape of the night sky.  Just like you drive by an “Entering Grafton” sign when you drive into town, there are divisional markers that act like Zodiac Gateways along the sun’s ecliptic path.  In one Solar Year, the Sun passes through them all, returning around the circle to the beginning again.

Every August, the Sun passes through the Solar Zodiac Gateway of the Leonis or Leo constellations. The Constellation Leo is oft depicted as a Lion, so we affectionately dub this The Lion’s Gateway.  The Sun crosses over into Leo on August 10, 2026.

LEO The LION’S GATEWAY
"Embodiment of the Lion"
The Lion’s Roar – Head Heart Core

Embodiment Codes
HEAD, HEART, CORE
There are three seats of awareness, 3 power centers for us as humans.
Our Head
Our Heart
Our Core

HEAD
The thought field, The mind field.
The head is a busy place.  It acts as both a receiver and projector.
Fabulous in function, the role of the head is to scan for info, to collect info, to organize info.  Categorize and repacket this info, and to project new synthesized information back out.
Head rules SOUND & SIGHT
As far as vantage points and inputs placed on the head, it a multi sensory area.
Mouth, Ears produce and receive sounds.  Eyes receive light, depth and color...sight.

HEART
Heart rules your energy flow. Your magnetics. Your electro-magnetic field.
Your heart rules emotion.
E- motion...energy in motion.
The flow of your emotions resembles electricity flow.
Your physical heart is a pump, a constant steady beat, that produces a magnetic field and conducts the pulse of Life within you.
And this flow induces a magnetic field, which is shaped like a torus.
Your heart magnet is programable and can be set to attract what you want directly to you. Each ring of the torus field directs a timeline, charts a directional course.

CORE
Soul Center
Merged state of ONEness
Where you are centered in your inner power, quiet and calm.  Steady and Strong.
The home, the residence, the temple of your soul.
Your source of inner knowing, your gut.

LION’S GATEWAY DEFINED BY STARS
We identify three celestial gateway sectors of the Lion Energy – and chose marker stars in Leo that are close to the ecliptic (Sun’s path) and also close to the Lion body shape in the constellation image.  We have demarked:

HEAD HEART AND CORE.

Head/Skull Leo Star – 8 Leonis

Heart of the Lion – Regulus (Alpha Leonis)

Core Leo Star – Rho Leonis (ρ Leonis)

This year our Total Solar Eclipse on Aug 12 lands “in the lion’s mouth” next to 8 Leonis – the sun visits the “heart of the lion” Regulus on Aug 22 and the Lunar Eclipse on Aug 28 we find the sun “in the core” next to Rho Leonis - with Mercury.
