LUNAR STANDSTILL
Embracing & Reflecting Did you happen to see the moon last night or tonight and think….the moon seems to be in a VERY different part of the sky? Or notice how low it was hanging by the horizon? Sept 28 & 29 we experienced the southernmost moon rise and sets for this Lunar Standstill cycle. What does that mean? Every 18.6 years the Moon has a lunistice and moves through its maximum south and north of east:west rising and set points on horizon- and moves to its lowest and highest path point in the sky. The sun moves in a similar annual seasonal cycle - as seen from earth. The moon does what the sun does in a year every month- and also due to the 5 deg tilt of lunar orbit (compared to earth orbit around sun) there is a larger metonic cycle and at the peak the moon reaches its most extreme northern and southern positions. The cycle also influences tides and sea levels. It can also influence earth weather patterns. We humans get a similar “pull of the tides” in our bodies, influenced by the lunar disc. Yesterday I went out to watch the 1:44 pm EDT Moonrise. And watch the 9:45 pm EDT Moonset. My usual rise and set vista spots are not useful for these maximum moon rise and set moments, as the moon is so far south of East and West. I mapped out some places in my area where a more southern horizon line vista was possible. The low cloud cover made daytime moonrise not visible- so my silver lunar Andara helped me anchor it in with the lake and clouds. This low half moon over the trees was visible from the window at Inner Space during our Light & Sound Journey last night. Which was perfect! The energy/color/light theme of our Group Journey was the Galactic Metallics. Which was so perfectly aligned- as the moon last night and tonight was near the spot in the sky where we gaze towards the Galacric Center - In the Sagittarius Constellation near the star Sag3. I did catch Moonset in its southerly horizon point last night. And it will be near this tonight as well- so you can catch it tonight too if you want a gaze. Look south of west. Here are some photo transmissions from my lunar journey yesterday

Lunar Eclipse Peaks at 2:12 pm EDT on September 7, 2025 in the healing waters of the constellation Aquarius Silver Lunar Discs Waterbodies as Reflectors Powerfully and more Fully “online” today with this eclipse What is your world reflecting back to you? What do you see in the inner lunar mirror? How does water inspire, cleanse, nourish and flow within you? ‘Tis the energies of this day, this eclipse now Here in my area, we had a huge vortex activation (tornadoes touched down around here yesterday) And so much rain, hail, wind, thunder & lightning Today was a sweet gentle soaking morning rain. Perfect for our parched earth to receive. Cool, soothing, soft. Then just when the shadow of the earth darkened the moon (visible across the globe where it was night)- things got epically quiet and still here. No rain, no breeze, white uniform cloud sky and deep reflective stillness. So perfect and beautiful. Then our power (electric grids) went out here. Came back a few hours later. Provided a quiet soft backdrop for the eclipse completion. VERY powerful weekend. A delicious reset. Lunar Water Bearer Silver Lunar Discs Activations |
